Construction Project Manager

ANZSCO: 133111 Type: Full-time Location: Boswen factory at Clayton South, and on the road to job sites as necessary

Responsibilities:

  1. Coordinate and manage all project operations from production, Installation and Service Automation including but not limited to the following;
    • liaise with all levels of staff to facilitate team
    • organizing materials
    • shop drawings for manufacturing
    • liaising with sub-contractors/installers
    • liaising with customers
  2. Maintain a clean and safe workspace, and abide by workplace health and safety policies and procedures
  3. Pre-organize/book Automation/motor installation
  4. Estimate budget labour/time/materials/tools required for each job
  5. Other tasks as directed

Qualifications:

  • Industry Experience
  • First aid certificate
  • OHS Cert VI

Experience:

  • 3 years minimum previous experience in a similar role/industry

Skills:

  1. Excellent verbal communications with customers
  2. Excellent Management and organization skills
  3. Leadership and People skills in dealing with Staff and Contractors at all levels
  4. Can Organize work in a timely and efficient manner including;
    • Organizing sub-contractors

Electrician (General)

Responsibilities:

  1. Level 1
    • Take instructions from supervisor/team leader
    • Aware of own and others safety onsite, and abide by workplace health and safety policies and procedures
    • Manual Handling, lift on and lift off
    • Dig hole manually and jack hammering
    • Push concrete barrels
    • General Laborer onsite
    • Site Cleaning at end of day
    • Pack up tools and trucks, keeping basic cleanliness of work facilities and properties
  2. Level 2
    • In addition to the above duties will also perform as follows
    • Independently perform various tasks including, set and mark out of site, cut posts with grinders, fix screws with power drills
  3. Level 3
    • In addition to the above duties can do supervisor and team leader role, refer team leader job description

Qualifications:

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and organize the production of all jobs placed with factory
  • Organize production in an efficient manner including: Reasonably roster and delicate each Welders tasks, Making sure deadlines are met, Strategic use of materials to minimize offcuts
  • Making sure the finish product is of quality standard and design as per shop drawing/specs
  • Liaising with Factory Manager Mehmet aiming to effectively coordinate overlapping jobs together
  • Maintain a clean and safe workspace, and abide by workplace health and safety policies and procedures
  • Estimate budget labour/time/materials/tools required for each job

Qualifications:

  • Qualified Welder, Mig/Tig/Arc
  • First aid certificate

  • Manual Handling, lift on and lift off
  • Welder, Mig/Tig/Arc
  • Cutting/grinding
  • Site Cleaning at end of day
  • Pack up tools factory away safely, keeping basic cleanliness of work facilities and properties

Qualifications:

  • Must have Passion with onsite work particular this role
  • White Card and PPE
  • Must Be Healthy and Fit
  • Welder

Experience:

  • 5 years minimum welding/steel fabrication

Skills:

  • General knowledge and use of power tools and machinery, i.e. press, saw, grind
  • Able to take instructions from Manager/Supervisors/team leader
